I think they are going to have a release date before Christmas or sometime between Jenurary and March and the release date is (probably) going to be October of 2023. I was honestly hoping they would release Outlast Trials sometime around Q1 of 2023 but I don't think that's going to happen. There also hasn't been an official release date set by Red Barrels, so a delay can't happen. I don't know how many people are working on the game but I'd take a guess and say its at most 30 people, the rest being marketing staff as well as any others in the publishing space.
Red Barrels only has 40 employees and they are both the developer and publisher for Outlast Trials.
